The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of Semnan University announced the presence of 27 researchers from this university in the list of the top two percent of highly cited researchers in the world, according to the latest report by the Islamic World Science and Technology Citation and Monitoring Institute (ISC).

To expand the boundaries of knowledge and strengthen scientific and technological cooperation, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Semnan University and the Center for International Scientific Studies and Cooperation.

A joint meeting between officials from Semnan University and the head of the Center for Regional Studies on the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage in West and Central Asia was held in conjunction with the International Silk Road event.

A joint scientific article by Dr. Arian Zare Qadi, a PhD student in Energy Conversion, Eng. Navid Radfar, a PhD student in Energy Conversion, Professor Mohammad Sadegh Valipour, a faculty member of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Professor Hong Yong-sun, in the prestigious journal Steel Research International (published by John Wiley), was selected as one of the journal's top and most cited articles in 2024.

The President of Semnan University said: With the announcement of the results of the ISC national ranking system in 2022-2023, Semnan University managed to rank 15th among the comprehensive universities of the country with seven steps of promotion.

Based on the latest studies conducted based on data from the international Scopus database, the names of 20 faculty members and postdoctoral researchers at Semnan University who have published the largest number of scientific articles between 2019 and 2024 were announced.
