Semnan University Researchers at the Frontiers of Knowledge: Publication of a Specialized Book on Neutrosophic Graphs
Fruit of Scientific Collaboration Between Semnan University and International Researchers: Publication of a Book at the New Frontiers of Mathematics
According to the Public Relations Office, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ehsani, Vice Chancellor for Research & Technology at Semnan University, announced the publication of a specialized book entitled "Topological Indices on Single-Valued Neutrosophic Graphs," co-authored by a faculty member and a postdoctoral researcher from Semnan University, in collaboration with two prominent international scholars.
Announcing the news, the Vice Chancellor for Research & Technology stated that the book was authored by Dr. Masoud Ghods, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at Semnan University, and Dr. Zahra Rostami, a Semnan University alumna and postdoctoral researcher, alongside Dr. Takayuki Fujita from Japan and Professor Florentin Smarandache from the University of New Mexico. The book has been published by NSIA Publications (Neutrosophic Science International Association).
Highlighting the significance of this work, Dr. Ehsani added that the book addresses one of the modern, interdisciplinary fields of mathematics—neutrosophic graphs—and presents novel methods for network structure analysis and the modeling of problems involving uncertainty, vagueness, and incomplete information. In recent years, these topics have found widespread applications in artificial intelligence, data science, complex network analysis, intelligent decision-making, and computational systems.
Dr. Ehsani noted that the authors developed key mathematical indices tailored to neutrosophic graphs to analyze network structures and inter-component relationships. By presenting theoretical foundations, theorems, proofs, and practical examples, the book paves the way for applying these methodologies to complex network analysis and uncertainty-based problems.
In conclusion, while congratulating the authors on the publication of this book, he described the achievement as a testament to Semnan University's scientific capacity for expanding international research collaborations. He expressed hope that continued support for faculty members and postdoctoral researchers would lead to the publication of more reference works, the expansion of cross-border partnerships, and the enhancement of Semnan University’s scientific standing on the global stage.
