The International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Standing Committee on Scientic and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) oer one-year Research Grants dedicated to women investigators under the age of 45 in ICGEB-COMSTECH common Member States to conduct original research projects of national/regional relevance. Through these grants, beneciary research institutes will be supported in the creation and/or upgrading of appropriate research facilities.

Eligibility:

• Applicants should be women researchers under the age of 45.

• Applicants should hold positions at Universities or Research Institutes in one of the following ICGEB-COMSTECH common Member States:

Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran (Islamic Republic of), Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Libya, Malaysia, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, Türkiye, and United Arab Emirates
