According to the news contact of Semnan University's vice-chancellor for research and technology, the vice-chancellor for research and technology of Semnan University said: To achieve scientific and technological authority and develop scientific diplomacy by the goals formulated by the Ministry of Science, Semnan University welcomes international programs to develop academic cooperation with universities approved by the Ministry of Science.

Dr. Ehsani clarified: The first valuable scientific cooperation meeting between Iranian universities and the BRICS countries was held with the presence of Dr. Omid Rezaifar (Head of the Center for Scientific and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science) and the head of the BRICS Higher Education Department from the Russian government, in which the representative Semnan University was present as one of the selected universities of the country.

Referring to the high capacity of the BRICS group in terms of science and technology, the member of Semnan University said: Semnan University is fully prepared to increase its scientific cooperation with member countries of this international organization.

It should be noted that in this meeting, Dr. Mohammad Najjarzadeh, Director of International Scientific Cooperation of Semnan University while announcing the readiness of Semnan University in the four areas of economic, technological, cultural, and scientific-research cooperation, invited members of the BRICS field to attend Semnan University.

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Omid Rezaifar, a professor at Semnan University's Faculty of Civil Engineering, who has been one of the key managers of the Ministry of Science's Technology and Innovation Department in recent years, was recently announced by the highest official of the Ministry as "Chairman of the Center for International Scientific Cooperation" and "Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Board of Trustees of the Center for International Scientific Studies and Cooperation" has been appointed.
