According to Semnan University public relations report; In this meeting, Dr. Seyfolah Saedodin pointed out the capacities and potentials of Semnan province and said: Semnan, despite having historical, natural, and cultural tourist attractions, has been neglected and more efforts should be made to introduce these attractions and attract tourists in this field.

Dr. Seyfolah Saedodin: Semnan University is ready to hold various events in the field of tourism, especially the Silk Road cultural event.

Seyed Hossein Mousavi, the mayor of Semnan, also said in this meeting: Considering that Semnan has been chosen as the capital of the Silk Road and Iran's representative in the Union of Silk Road member countries, the international secretariat of this event has been established in Semnan.

He added: This event will be held in the first quarter of next year or in the months of September and October.

Hemat Hadian, the General Manager of Urban Affairs of Semnan Governorate, also appreciated the attention and planning of Semnan Municipality to the issue of tourism and emphasized the need for solidarity and cooperation with other municipalities of the province with this valuable event.

Dr. Kashian, the head of Semnan University's Faculty of Tourism, also in this meeting, after examining the growing economic, social, and cultural indicators of the countries of the world related to the field of tourism, said: In order for the country to reach the economic indicators in the field of tourism at the international level, efforts and proper planning should be made.

Holding this event is aimed at promoting tourism and introducing Semnan's tourism capabilities and attractions as well as possible, and it can be a turning point in the economic prosperity of the city and the province.

The holding of this event has been approved at the Shahid Soleimani Conference Center of Semnan University, and the spatial potential of the city is also used for the side programs of this event, including local tourism festivals.
