The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of Semnan University added: In the field of physical sciences, Semnan University has succeeded in gaining the position of 801 to 1000 in the world.

Dr. Ehsani stated that one of the important rankings that The Times conducts annually is the evaluation and assessment of universities in different subject areas and stated: This ranking introduces the world's top universities in 11 general subject areas.

The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of Semnan University stated: The Times subject ranking is based on 5 main criteria of education (learning environment), research environment, research quality, international perspective and industry, similar to the Times global ranking, which universities in each 5 of these indicators are evaluated and weighted in each subject area.

It is worth noting, 73 universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran are present in this prestigious global ranking, and Semnan University is also present in most of the prestigious national and international systems as the appointed university of Semnan province in recent years.
