According to the Semnan University public relations report; Announcing this news, Dr. Shamsozoha Abolmaali said: Following the agreement of the Higher Education Development Office with the creation of a bachelor's degree in social work, the Faculty of Social Sciences started working in the Farzangan campus.

Dr. Abolmaali added: Based on the organizational structure approved by the Farzangan campus in the meeting minutes of the Trustee Center dated August 2, 2021, a license to establish a social science faculty was issued, and it is currently being prepared to work with three expert faculty members at the Farzangan campus to recruit the first course of social work.

Dr. Abolmaali added: "Farzangan campus will accept students in October of the academic year 2024-05 in day and night courses with a capacity of 30 students."

She said: Considering the suitable job market for the field of social work and the acceptance of the applicants, the creation of this field in the Farzangan campus of Semnan University was pursued and completed.

The president of the Farzangan Semnan campus stated: Also, the Faculty of Social Sciences has plans to create other fields of this faculty, including women's studies.
