According to Semnan University Public Relations, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ehsani, Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of the University, announced the news and said: This memorandum of understanding aims to develop scientific, research and international cooperation and was signed by Dr. Seyfolah Saedodin, President of Semnan University, and Dr. Omid Rezaifar, Head of the Center for International Scientific Studies and Cooperation, for a period of two years.

Dr. Ehsani stated: "This memorandum of understanding is a strategic document that facilitates the expansion of the university's scientific and international interactions, and its signing plays a key role in promoting research and technology and the targeted use of national and international capacities."

He continued: "The key areas of this memorandum include implementing joint research and technology projects, exchanging professors and students, facilitating scientific communication with reputable global centers, holding specialized courses and workshops, supporting joint international projects, and participating in the establishment of regional and international reference laboratories."

The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of Semnan University added: "One of the outstanding features of the memorandum of understanding is the provision of a transparent mechanism for financing joint research projects and determining the share of the university and the center in implementing the projects, so that the participation of both parties, while observing scientific principles, will lead to synergy and improve the quality of research results."

Dr. Ehsani emphasized the importance of international interactions and stated: "This memorandum of understanding provides the opportunity for international researchers to attend the university, introduce startups, support technology companies, and develop scientific collaborations with reputable foreign universities and centers, which will play an important role in strengthening research and technology at the national and regional levels."

It is worth noting that this Memorandum of Understanding is structured into 9 articles and 6 notes and is valid and enforceable from the date of signing. According to its provisions, if the parties wish, the possibility of extending cooperation for subsequent periods is also foreseen.
