Semnan University and Hohai University of China signed a cooperation memorandum
Semnan University and Hohai University of China signed a memorandum of understanding to develop joint scientific interactions.
According to Semnan University public relations report; the manager of scientific and international collaboration at Semnan University said: This memorandum was signed by Dr. Seyfolah Saedodin, the president of Semnan University and the president of China's Hohai University.
Dr. Mohammad Najjarzadeh added: Conducting joint research activities, exchange of professors and students, exchange of scientific and research information, and planning for joint conferences, seminars, and lectures are among the fields of cooperation between the two universities in the form of this memorandum.
Stating that this memorandum is applicable for an initial period of five years, he clarified: the Hohai University of China, which was established in 1915, is one of the first higher education institutions in China.
Located in Nanjing, China, this university has become a leading comprehensive university in engineering, natural sciences, business, and social sciences.
Hohai University is one of the 75 key state universities administered by the Ministry of Education of China and one of the 56 Chinese universities with postgraduate education.
Hohai University is very strong in engineering, especially in water resources engineering and environmental science and engineering, and ranks first and eighth in these two fields among all universities in China.
The university has 20 colleges and schools on 3 campuses with a student population of over 50,000.
Hohai has more than 3,000 faculty members, including more than 1,700 full professors and associate professors.
