In this meeting, Dr. Abdolmohammad Kashian, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism at Semnan University, while listing the capacities and potentials of the Faculty of Tourism and Semnan University, referred to the capacity of the first international Silk Road Tourism Conference in May 2025 and expressed hope that the Semnan International Conference would benefit from the cooperation of Southwest China University in holding this international event.

Also in this meeting, Dr. Fazeli Nashli, full professor at the University of Tehran and former head of the Archaeological Research Institute, referred to successful cooperation with Chinese universities, presented his suggestions for developing these cooperations, and expressed hope for the success of these cooperations.

Subsequently, Dr. Salehi, a faculty member of the Faculty of Arts, and Dr. Arab, a lecturer in archaeology at the Faculty of Tourism, as well as Ms. Malina Deng Chen, an archaeologist present at the meeting from China, and Mr. Baniasadi, director of the Silk Road Office of Semnan Municipality, presented their views on this matter.

It should be noted that Semnan University will host an international tourism conference in May 2025.
