According to Semnan University public relations report; Announcing this news, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ehsani said: In the 2023 edition of the "Times Institute of Higher Education" ranking system of Asian universities, the names of 928 institutions from 36 Asian countries and 65 Iranian institutions are included in the final list.

Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of Semnan University added: Based on this, Semnan University was ranked 401-500 in Asia in the 2023 edition.

Referring to the increase of Iranian institutions in the 2023 edition of this ranking system, Dr. Ehsani said: Due to the increase of Iranian institutions in this ranking, Semnan University was able to get the national rank of 50 among the universities of the Ministry of Science and Health.

The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology of the university continued: The ranking of Asian universities by "The Times Institute of Higher Education" evaluates the leading institutions of Asia in the five fields of education, research, citations, industrial income, and global outlook based on 13 quantitative indicators, which Semnan University has scored 21.5 points in education, 13.8 points in research, 40.7 points in citations, 37.4 points in industrial income and 19.6 points in the global outlook.

Dr. Ehsani pointed out: The Times ranking database is one of the most reliable ranking systems at the international level, which ranked Asian universities for the first time in 2013 along with its other international rankings.

It should be noted; According to the 2023 Times ranking, which was announced earlier, Semnan University was able to record a global position of 1201-1500.
