After About 15 Years, the Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Section Related to the National Emission of Greenhouse Gases Became a Member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
According to Semnan University public relations report; In the section of the working office members of the IPCC National Greenhouse Gas Emissions Group, Dr. Mohammad Rahimi, a member of Semnan University's faculty, representing the Islamic Republic of Iran, and a representative from the Maldives became members of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
Iran's Meteorological Organization, as the IPCC national reference in Iran, nominated 2 representatives for the seventh election of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, and one representative became a member of this important body in the field of climate change for the first time in at least 15 years.
Dr. Mohammad Rahimi is a member of the faculty of Semnan University and a professor of the Desertification Department of the faculty of Desert Studies of this university.
