According to Semnan University Public Relations, Dr. Mohammad Hossein Ehsani announced the news: In the latest update of the ISC database, which was recently published, 26 researchers from Semnan University have been included in the list of the top two percent of highly cited researchers in the world. This list is based on one-year citation performance in 2024 as well as an analysis of the citation performance of authors during their academic careers from 1960 to 2024.

Dr. Ehsani stated that the list of Semnan University's most cited researchers for the year 2024 includes the names of 24 researchers from Semnan University, adding: Dr. Ahmad Hosseini Bandegharaei, Dr. Hamed Younesi, Dr. Hojat Karami, Dr. Hossein Naderpour, Dr. Sanaz Alamdari, Dr. Saeed Haddadi, Dr. Saeed Farzin, Dr. Seyfolah Saedodin, Dr. Saman Rashidi, Dr. Sina Kiani, Dr. Shiva Khani, Dr. Ali Asghar Orouji, Dr. Ali Kheyroddin, Dr. Mohammad Azadi, Dr. Mohammad Ehteram, Dr. Mohammad Danaei, Dr. Mohammad Sadeq Valipour, Dr. Mohammadreza Doostmohammadian, Dr. Maryam Rajabi, Dr. Maryam Aliannezhadi, Dr. Mehdi Mousavi Kamazani, Dr. Meysam Shakouri, Dr. Pejman Rezaei, and Mr. Karim Abbaspour are on this list and have excelled in various scientific and research fields at the global level.

He clarified: In the citation performance section during academic service (1960-2024), 12 researchers from Semnan University have been included in the list of the top two percent of highly cited researchers in the world.

The Vice-Chancellor of Research and Technology at Semnan University continued: This list includes researchers such as Dr. Majid Eshaghi, Dr. Pejman Rezaei, Dr. Ahmad Hosseini Bandegharaei, Dr. Bahman Zare-Nezhad, Dr. Hossein Naderpour, Dr. Zahra Moravej, Dr. Mohammad Azadi, Dr. Mohammad Danaei, Dr. Mohammad Sadeq Valipour, Dr. Saman Rashidi, Dr. Mehdi Mousavi Kamazani, and Mr. Karim Abbaspour.

Dr. Ehsani stated that several new faculty members have also been added to the top two percent of highly cited researchers in the world for the first time, adding that Dr. Saeed Farzin, Dr. Maryam Aliannezhadi, Dr. Sanaz Alamdari, and Dr. Mohammadreza Doostmohammadian are among the new researchers from Semnan University who have joined this global list this year.

Dr. Ehsani noted that these successes, especially in the field of one-year research and during scientific service, indicate the growth and promotion of Semnan University's scientific status at the international level. The presence of 27 researchers from Semnan University in these two highly cited global lists represents a significant step towards achieving the university's scientific and research goals and supporting scientific innovation.
