According to Semnan University Public Relations, Dr. Farzin Yaghmaee, Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance at Semnan University, said in the meeting: Semnan University, as a comprehensive and designated university in the province, has almost all majors, and the activities of 10 highly cited scientists in the top 1% in the world, indicate the quality of education at this university.

Dr. Yaghmaee called for the cooperation of all authorized and legal institutions in attracting international students, adding: "National diversity and attracting quality students are among the concerns of university officials in this area."

He said: "These students are ambassadors of Islamic Iran in their own country, and we hope that these concerns will also be taken into consideration by institutions recruiting international students."

Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance at Semnan University said: "Following the law and transparency in this area is on the agenda at Semnan University, and we hope that we will be more successful in attracting international students by cooperating with institutions active in this field."

The head of the Non-Iranian Students' Office of Semnan University also stated in this meeting that all efforts were made to attract international students to this university in a program-oriented manner. He said: In the Educational Affairs Working Group, all educational matters for international students are organized under this working group, and another working group is active in the field of cultural affairs for international students.

Dr. Reza Naghdi stated that indicators have been set in the field of attracting international students and said: The number of students, the average grade point average of the students attracted, cooperation with licensed and legal companies, attracting students in all fields, especially basic sciences, natural resources, new technologies, psychology, and desertification, are among the indicators of attracting international students at Semnan University.

Dr. Reza Naghdi announced that national diversity is another indicator emphasized at this university, adding: that Semnan University has a strong scientific foundation, considering that it has 10 scientists in the top one percent of the world and 24 scientists in the top two percent, and can welcome students from the Middle East and Eastern Europe.

Also, Engineer Hamed Ahmadipour and Engineer Asghar Alizadeh, experts in the specialized evaluation of the Student Affairs Organization of the Ministry of Science, as well as Jalal Goodarzi from the Monitoring Working Group, spoke about the rules and methods of attracting non-Iranian students.

Representatives of international student recruitment institutions also presented their views, problems, and issues in this regard at this meeting, and the experts present answered their questions.
