Faculty Member of Semnan University’s Faculty of Tourism Ascends Mount Damavand

A faculty member of Semnan University successfully ascended the 5,610-meter peak of Mount Damavand, hoisting the flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Semnan University at its summit.

According to the University Public Relations Office, this climb was conducted as part of a mountaineering initiative aimed at promoting a culture of sports, vitality, endurance, and appreciation for Iran's valuable natural heritage.

Highlighting that mountaineering is not merely a sports activity, but an opportunity to foster willpower, patience, responsibility, and teamwork, Dr. Mohammad Najjarzadeh stated: "Peaks are not conquered by physical strength alone; rather, perseverance, planning, hope, and a spirit of collaboration are the most crucial factors in achieving success."

Congratulating this valuable achievement, Semnan University described it as a symbol of the importance of physical and mental health, the promotion of an active lifestyle, and responsible engagement with nature.
