  Approval of the implementation of 17 research projects with the participation of researchers from the two countries of Iran and Austria

In a meeting in Austria, 17 joint projects were approved by Iran-Austria Impulse Program . The meeting was held by presence of former Austrian President (Mr. Fisher), the Director-General of the Austrian Scientific Cooperation Agency (OEAD), Austrian University Presidents and the Iranian team, consisting of Ambassador of Iran Austria, Deputy Minister of Science Research and Technology in International Affairs (Prof. Hossein Salar Amoli) and the head of Khuarazmi University. In the meeting, 17 proposals (among 78 received proposals) were approved by the committee. One of the approved projects will be performed by Dr. Mohammad Azadi (Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Semnan University) and researchers from University of Leoben (Montanuniversität Leoben). In the mentioned project, the fatigue properties of Aluminum Alloy used in the pistons of an automobile engine will be investigated.
